Welcome to the Scriptorium. For those of you who don't know, a scriptorium was the chamber in a medieval monastery or convent where writing was done and books were copied. If you've seen the film adaptation of Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose , starring Sean Connery and a very young Christian Slater, you've seen a pretty good recreation of one.
Hopefully you'll find at least some of my musings either entertaining or informative and thought-provoking, hopefully both (even if you don't agree with me).
Thanks for stopping by.
Pax vobiscum (Medieval Latin for "peace be with you.")
